Tier Upgrade
The automatic promotion to a higher messaging limit when your account maintains good quality while approaching its current sending capacity.
How it works
Tier upgrades are automatic increases in your messaging limits that occur when Meta's system detects that your account is consistently healthy and reaching its current capacity. The progression goes from 1K to 10K to 100K to unlimited unique users per 24 hours. To trigger an upgrade, you need to maintain a Connected quality rating (green), have a verified business, and send messages to at least half of your current tier's limit within a 7-day window. Downgrades also happen automatically if your quality rating drops. A Red rating can push you down one or more tiers. There is no manual way to request a tier upgrade; it is entirely algorithm-driven. Monitoring your tier status and quality rating in the WhatsApp Manager is essential for planning large-scale campaigns.
